Cycling Without Age is back with free trishaw rides

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s Cycling Without Age program is back with free 20- to 45-minute trishaw rides through the Minneapolis trail system for folks ages 55+ or with limited mobility. This fall, rides are offered from Graco Park every Saturday afternoon through October 18.

Trishaws are stable, three-wheeled vehicles with electric assistance. One or two passengers seated in front enjoy a bike ride free of physical demands, thanks to a friendly, trained, experienced “pilot” in back who pedals and steers.

Rides are free, but you must sign up ahead of time, and at least one passenger must live in Minneapolis and be 55+ or have limited mobility and no longer able to ride a bike on their own. Visit the Cycling Without Age page for info: minneapolisparks.org/activities-events/cycling-without-age/.
